PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Promoter

The promoter is: The Big Surprise Ltd (T/A The Holiday Artist), Company Number 12732428 and whose registered office is at 12 Stump Cross Lane, Swineshead, Boston, England, PE20 3JJ.

Our correspondence address is the same as our registered address.

2. The promotion

These terms and conditions apply to the current competition or prize giveaway listed on the Promoter’s website at https://theholidayartist.com (the "Website") or across their associated Social Media profiles. The current competition or prize giveaway shall be referred to as the "promotion" and the Promoter will only ever run one promotion at any given time.
The current promotion will run from 14th July 2025 from 12:00 and close on 13th August 2025 at 23:59. These dates shall be referred to as the "Opening Date" and "Closing Date" respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
If it is absolutely necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates. If the Promoter does change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date of a promotion, the new details will be displayed on the platform/s where the promotion has been run. The Promoter will not extend the Closing Date simply to allow for more entries.
All promotion entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All promotion entries received after the specified time on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
The maximum number of entries to the promotion is 1 entry per person (subject to the Eligibility terms in clause 5).

3. How to enter

To enter the promotion:
1. Comment on the promotional Facebook post. The comment must be directly on the promotional Facebook post and not on any shared posts of the promotion.
2. Comment must include the date of your wedding and a destination (ideally the one you’d prefer for your honeymoon).
All entries must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for promotion entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
By submitting a promotion entry, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions.
Your entry must be received by the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. If you have not completed the required entry steps, then you have not been entered into the draw.

4. Choosing a winner

All Entrants who correctly follow the steps laid out in clause 3 will be placed into a draw and the winner will be chosen by a random name generator.
The draw will be filmed live on the Promoter's Facebook page at 12:30pm on Friday the 15th of August 2026. This date shall be referred to as the "Draw Date".
The chosen winner will then be contacted via Facebook (by way of reply to their entry comment) by the Promoter in order to finalise and deliver the prize.
During the draw, Entrants' names may be visible during the live broadcast in order to prove authenticity of the promotion draw. If you do not wish to have your name potentially on display, you must contact the Promoter via email at [email protected] as soon as reasonably possible after you have completed your entry and in any event, at least 72 hours before the live draw takes place.

5. Eligibility

The promotion is only open to all residents in the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except:
1. employees of the Promoter;
2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or
3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
By entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize detailed in clause 6 of these terms. The Promoter may require you to provide proof of your eligibility. If you fail to provide the Promoter with any such proof or other information that they may require within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the promotion.
The Promoter will not accept entries that are:
1. automatically generated by computer; or
2. incomplete.
The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize promotion. This includes if you are rude or abusive to the Promoter or anyone associated with them.
You must be willing and able to provide the Promoter with personal photographs and/or written reviews of your experience of the prize after it has been claimed and utilised.

6. The prize

The prize consists of a £300 discount applied to the total cost of a honeymoon booking. This applies to qualifying honeymoons with a minimum value of £5,000, booked through The Holiday Artist. Eligible bookings may include select third-party packages or cruises (e.g. Kuoni, Newmarket Holidays, Virgin Voyages, Riviera, If Only, Jet2, easyJet Holidays and TUI), where The Holiday Artist acts as an authorised retail partner.
If the total booking value does not meet the £5,000 threshold with a third-party provider, a bespoke honeymoon package may be arranged directly through The Holiday Artist, where the £300 discount will still be honoured, subject to availability and standard booking terms.
The prize is tailored to the winner, and the honeymoon must be booked as a complete flight inclusive package through The Holiday Artist.
The minimum value of the prize is £300.00.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize of the same value.
Details of the Prize are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.
The prize must be claimed within 28 days (acknowledged with requested details provided to The Holiday Artist), and used between 24 months to 8 weeks of the wedding date.
The prize may be supplied by a third-party supplier (the “Supplier”). Details of the Supplier (if any) will be provided to the winner as necessary.
The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

7. Winners

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Draw Date, using Facebook. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not responded and claimed the Prize within [28] days of the Draw Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter may [publish the name, surname and county of the prize winner on our Social Media] OR [send the name, surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who writes to the address set out in clause 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the promotion].
If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected] prior to the Closing Date. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if you are unable to or do not take up the prize.

8. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, suppliers or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, suppliers or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Data protection and publicity

By entering the promotion, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the promotion entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the promotion or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
If you are the winner of the promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this promotion. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the promotion we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with to prove that the promotion has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.
If you are the winner of the promotion, you may be required to provide further personal information and proof of your identity in order to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You are entitled to request further details about how your personal information is being used. You may also withdraw your consent to your personal information being used in such way but by doing so you may prevent the Prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the promotion and forfeit the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
Please note that under data protection laws you are entitled to request that the Promoter does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request you will be withdrawing from the promotion as it will not be possible to contact you in the event that you are the winner. If you do not wish any of your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter at [email protected] prior to the Closing Date.

10. General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the Website.
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the promotion and any future promotions.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. There is no minimum number of entries and the Promoter will not hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize promotion due to a lack of entries.
The promotion on Social Media is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. By entering the promotion, Entrants agree that Facebook has no liability and is not responsible for the administration or promotion of the promotion.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
You should print a copy of these terms and conditions and keep them for your records.
